energy systems or similar systems is required.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience working with multi-functional teams in implementing systems from requirements definition to design to implementation is required while ensuring project timelines and budgets are met.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in creating, modifying, and using test plans during the development, qualification, and approval stages of optical systems is required.<\/li>\n<li>Must reside in the North Alabama area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, North Alabama area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Preferred_Qualifications\"><\/span>Preferred Qualifications<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent from an ABET accredited university.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in selection and integration of optoelectronic devices such as lasers, photodiodes, beam profilers and spectrometers Experience in optical component and system design<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Zemax, Code V, etc.<\/li>\n<li>MATLAB or Python experience 3D CAD experience SolidWorks or
